Social Listening

I picked the brand Adore Me. People are talking about how cute and comfortable their sets are and how affordable. As a woman I am always interested in finding cute but affordable underwear and bras.

I love the brands value proposition, "At Adore Me, we empower women to embrace their uniqueness. We understand that every woman has a unique style and body type and we celebrate that by designing lingerie styles with a perfect fit for every body." (1) What woman doesn't want to find something unique and designed for their body style.

Instagram is blowing up with positive reviews.

Adore Me is focused on selling that you can look and feel sexy no matter your shape or size. They want to support every woman to celebrate her best self—because every woman deserves to feel loved, respected, and happy in her own skin. (1) Their advertising and marketing efforts hold true to their mission. They show women all shapes and sizes in their marketing strategies. They also use story telling in their photos to show women using the product in all different situations. They are definitely building brand recognition and trying to compete against the likes of Victoria Secret, which if they really are size inclusive, they are selling to a demographic that VS misses out on or rejects completely which would be the plus sized market.

The only downside I see to their marketing is they are hit or miss when responding to customers on their social media posts. I feel like maybe they need to have a few people assigned to handle the social media side of things. Yes their posts are super cute and eye catching but when a customer has a question it may be a question multiple people have and to not respond publicly may make it to where someone may not place an order because they had questions before they wanted to spend their money.

I learned a lot from how this company markets their products as well as where they could stand to put a bit more effort in. Their photos and how they market their product is very eye catching and their mission is something I would want to support but their lack of response might hold me back from actually making a purchase.
